Cute Trader uses standard bar charts to display the market price action. All the graphs provided auto scale to size, and can be set to dynamically adjust their periodic setting in accordance with the time of day. You can click and drag a chart into any desired position and then use the recalibrate button to restore its default setting. Each chart includes all the technical indicators provided which can be activated or deactivated at any time.

The software has various methods of measuring the overall market conditions which include a chart dedicated to the indices. This aspect of the program is integral to the risk management system and is constantly monitoring the prevailing market conditions using the defined indicators.

This day trading simulator provides a virtual trading environment which allows the trader to train and practice using specific technical settings across selected markets and date time ranges. An array of technical and statistical indicators are available to choose from. These indicators can be used individually or in combination to analyze each stock in a portfolio giving the trader an indelible edge in the market. Cute Trader addresses the day traders need to create a truly integrated trading methodology, encompassing the many elements that make an effective trading system. The profit target and stop loss, as well as the buy and sell alerts, can be predefined and triggered based on share price, average investment per trade, risk to reward / win to loss ratios, leverage, %/$ gain, and buying power. This allows the trader to create and try out various money management strategies to maximize profits while keeping risk to a minimum. As this is a vital aspect of any trading system it must be given careful consideration.

The main trading interface is relatively straight forward and very easy to use. Once you have selected the desired date and time, click the start button and you can begin trading. The market scanner will populate the top left list box (green text) with the LONG filtered stock symbols and will populate the list box below (orange text) with the SHORT filtered stock symbols. Click on a stock symbol and it will be displayed in the charts, you can then trade the selected stock by clicking either the Long or Short button (bottom left). When the order dialog box appears simply place an order and its done. When the order has been accepted by the market, its symbol will appear in the current trades portfolio window (upper right side of interface). If the trade hits its target or stop-loss you will be alerted. The pre-defined target and stop-loss can be set at any time with the Risk Control manager.

The imported stocks are monitored in real time for pattern and technical 'set ups'™ that meet the buy and sell signal criteria which have been pre-defined as entry and exit points. The real time market scanner has three stringency levels to choose from which will eliminate any unsuitable stocks during intraday scanning. These patterns will trigger alerts which the trader can use to make a decision (Buy, Sell or ignore). The trader may also choose to allow the system to execute automatically based on these signals.

The real time performance reports give the trader an instant view of the portfolio status. The stocks owned are updated in 'real time'�. Historical performance reports can also be produced from this data. Below is a list of the key statistics available in real time portfolio grid.
